Stripping tabs are the bridge between your paper and the register pin button. One side of the stripping tab is taped to the edge of your paper, while the round 1/4" (6.3mm) hole is attached to the 1/4" round button of the register pin which has been taped to your work surface. Two or three tabs are usually used with each piece of paper. After all the prints are finished the tabs are then either cut off your work, or many people peel off and reuse the tabs. They aren’t really meant for re-use and eventually will need to be replaced.
